Rachel Lam
Student RMT, BA Psych, ACE-CES (SHE/HER/HERS)
Rachel is a student therapist at Vancouver College of Massage Therapy, expected to complete the provincial licensing exam in March 2027. With a Bachelor's in Psychology from Simon Fraser University and a Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist Certification from ACE, she strives to provide a warm space for patients' self exploration and recovery that is meaningful to the individual. Her treatment approach is patient-centred to support any kind of life and physical challenges.
Applying her deep interest in human anatomy & movement, Rachel has treated chronic pain, sports-related injuries, post-surgery rehab, neurological symptoms, TMJD and more. She uses Swedish massage techniques, stretching, myofascial release, trigger point release, joint mobilization, and muscle energy technique.
Outside of the studio, Rachel is either strength training in the gym, hiking / snowboarding on a mountain, flying on aerial silks, or diving deep in the ocean. As an aerialist, Rachel understands and has a special interest in supporting the physical demands of end range movement & extreme positions.
Rachel is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
