SERVICES

How we can help.

Thirteen services across three streams — therapy, specialties, and activity-based. All delivered 1-on-1, by regulated practitioners, across five Metro Vancouver studios.

HOW WE CAN SUPPORT YOU

01

THERAPY

Hands-on care to alleviate pain, restore range of motion, and rebuild function.

02

SPECIALTIES

Focused care when a specific diagnosis or symptom needs more than general rehab. Vestibular work, shockwave for chronic tendinopathy, IMS for nerve-driven muscle tension, dietetics, and counselling.

03

ACTIVITY-BASED

Performance and prevention — getting ahead of injury before it shows up. Movement screening for runners, cyclists and golfers, plus 1-on-1 Clinical Pilates for the deep stability behind it all.

NOT SURE WHERE TO START?

Which service is right for you?

Most people book whatever a friend recommended or whatever Google surfaced first. Here is what we actually see in the studio — matched to the question we're asked most often.

Which service is right for me — physiotherapy, RMT, or chiropractic?

Physiotherapy is the broadest choice: it covers assessment, diagnosis-guided exercise, manual therapy, and return-to-function planning for most musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) focuses on soft-tissue work — muscle tension, circulation, and recovery from overuse — and is often used alongside physio. Chiropractic care centres on joint mobility, particularly in the spine. For most new injuries or complex presentations, physiotherapy is the recommended starting point; your clinician can coordinate with the other disciplines from there.

What conditions does vestibular therapy treat?

Vestibular therapy at Launch Rehab treats inner-ear and brain-based balance disorders, including BPPV (benign paroxysmal positional vertigo), unilateral vestibular hypofunction, post-concussion dizziness, and balance impairment from aging or neurological events. It uses targeted repositioning manoeuvres and habituation exercises. A physiotherapist with vestibular training conducts a full assessment before any treatment begins.

Is shockwave therapy covered by insurance?

Shockwave therapy is typically billed under physiotherapy services, which are covered by most extended health plans. ICBC pre-approves shockwave as part of the active-care benefit for motor-vehicle-injury clients when clinically indicated. WorkSafeBC coverage depends on the adjudicator's approval. Our client care coordinators verify your coverage before the first session.

Can I see two different practitioners in the same week under ICBC?

Yes. ICBC's Enhanced Care model pre-approves visits across several disciplines simultaneously — physiotherapy, RMT, chiropractic, and kinesiology can all run in parallel during the first 12 weeks. Many clients combine a physiotherapist for assessment and active rehab with an RMT for soft-tissue work in the same week, especially in the acute phase.
