Physiotherapist
Teresa Chang
BKIN, MPT (SHE/HER/HERS)
Teresa completed her Master of Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia.
Growing up as a competitive badminton player, Teresa sustained multiple injuries, but was fascinated by the resilience of the human body and developed a passion to become a physical therapist. From sprains and strains to fractures, she's personally experienced them all! Teresa hopes that by utilizing an approach that combines manual therapy, individualized exercise prescription and education, she can empower her clients and help them get back to doing the things they love. Regardless of whether you have a musculoskeletal condition, or injury related to a motor vehicle accident or work, Teresa strives to ensure that your concerns will be heard and met. You can expect Teresa to draw on her clinical experience, academic education, and research experience to help you optimize your full potential.
Outside of the studio, you can find her serving it up on the badminton courts, out on the field playing Spikeball, lifting weights, or powering through HIIT workouts at home. She enjoys exploring the outdoors, scouting Vancouver for the best coffee and pastries, and spending time with her friends and family.
