Tristan Dy Tang
BSCKIN (HE/HIM/HIS)
Tristan holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Active Health and Rehabilitation from Simon Fraser University. He is a registered member of the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists.
His interest in injury management began during his youth while playing basketball, where he both experienced and witnessed a variety of sports-related injuries. This early exposure sparked a lasting passion for rehabilitation. Tristan has since gained experience helping individuals recover from motor vehicle accident injuries, further broadening his clinical expertise.
Currently, his passion lies in running. Drawing from his personal journey, he is dedicated to helping runners of all levels stay injury-free through proper strengthening, education, and progression. Tristan is committed to supporting his clients in achieving their goals, whether related to rehabilitation or fitness. He emphasizes personalized exercise therapy, recognizing that effective recovery depends not only on physical health, but also on mental, environmental, and lifestyle factors.
Tristan strives to empower his clients and guide them in building sustainable habits to improve their overall well-being.
Outside of work, Tristan enjoys cooking and running. Each year on his birthday, he challenges himself to run the same number of kilometres as his age. He also enjoys hiking and exploring the outdoors whenever possible. When relaxing at home, he can often be found watching Netflix or catching up on NBA games.
