BIKE FITTING IN COQUITLAM

Why clients in Coquitlam choose us.

Bike fitting at our Coquitlam studio is run by a physiotherapist who assesses the rider before touching the bike. Hip and knee mobility, ankle range, trunk control, and any injury history all inform the position before saddle height or cleat angle is changed. This order matters because a fit that ignores the rider's body tends to make compensations more comfortable, not less present.

Sessions cover road, gravel, time trial, and mountain bike setups. You leave with documented contact-point numbers and a clear explanation of every adjustment. The Coquitlam studio is steps from Lincoln SkyTrain, which is useful for Tri-Cities and Port Moody cyclists who ride to appointments.

Coquitlam sits in the centre of the Tri-Cities cycling community, close to Burke Mountain trails and the Coquitlam Crunch, so most riders we see are training on varied terrain and need a fit that works off-road as well as on.

FAQ

Bike Fitting in Coquitlam — questions.

Do I bring my bike to the Coquitlam studio?

+

Yes. Bring the bike causing the problem, or the one you ride most. We use a trainer and video to see pedal stroke and position in real time.

Is parking available for someone coming with a bike?

+

Paid parking is available on Glen Drive. The studio is on the second floor, and there is elevator access from street level for handling a bike.

Can a bike fit help with pain from the Coquitlam Crunch?

+

The Crunch is a hike, not a cycling route, but riders who train around Coquitlam often combine cycling with trail use. If you are dealing with hip or knee pain that shows up both on and off the bike, the physical assessment portion of the fit is a good starting point.
