Our North Burnaby studio is the original — first opened in October 2015 as Kensington Square Physiotherapy.
We renovated the space in August 2021 to better serve our community, and at the start of 2023 it was reborn under the Launch Rehab banner. Eleven years of care from the same address.

About the North Burnaby studio.
How long has this studio been operating?
We've been on this corner since October 2015 — originally as Kensington Square Physiotherapy. The space was renovated in 2021 and rebranded to Launch Rehab in early 2023. Same address, same clinical standards.
Is the parking really free?
Yes. Kensington Square Shopping Centre provides free client parking. The lot is shared with the grocery store, so spots are usually easy to find.
Can I see the same therapist every visit?
Yes — that's how we prefer to work. Booking with the same clinician across an injury keeps your treatment plan coherent and avoids the repeat-the-history-every-visit problem.
Do I need a doctor's referral to see a physiotherapist in North Burnaby?
No. British Columbia allows direct access to physiotherapy, so you can book with us without a referral. The one exception is your insurance — some extended health plans ask for a physician's referral before they reimburse, so it's worth checking your plan before your first visit.
What insurance do you direct-bill at the North Burnaby studio?
We direct-bill ICBC and WorkSafeBC claims and most major extended health insurers — Pacific Blue Cross, Sun Life, Manulife, Canada Life, and Green Shield among them — plus MSP supplementary benefits for patients on premium assistance. If we can't bill your plan directly, you'll get a detailed receipt to submit for reimbursement.
