KATHERINE FONG

BSCKIN (SHE/HER/HERS)
Katherine graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelors of Kinesiology. She became involved in athletics at a very young age, taking on many sports such as track and field, volleyball, dance and ski. Her love for sports added to her fascination with the human body and its mechanics, which led her to pursue a degree in Kinesiology.

Katherine’s aim is to help all her patients achieve their goals, whatever they might be. She has a special interest in sports rehabilitation and sport-specific training, but also loves working with regular clients who are simply looking to improve their health. Her approach to rehab is holistic as she believes in whole-body healing from a physical and mental standpoint.
Further, Katherine has extensive experience with patients with Huntington’s disease as well.

Outside of work, Katherine helps coach a high school volleyball team. She is also a certified ski instructor and loves to ski with her family during the winter. In the summer, Katherine enjoys many outdoor activities, such as paddle boarding and hiking.

JORDAN HUM

MPT, BSCKIN (HE/HIM/HIS)
Jordan is a Kinesiologist who holds both a Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy from Brunel University London and a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from UBC. With extensive experience in applied biomechanics, injury management, and rehabilitation, his goal is to provide insight into how we can use exercise to best bridge the gap between rehab and training to help achieve each client’s goals. Understanding that movement does not take place in isolation is a fundamental principle that Jordan’s systematic approach is built. Applying a multifocal lens to viewing movement is what allows Jordan to provide bespoke and tailored treatment plans that account for each individual’s goals, lifestyle, and needs.

Outside of the studio, Jordan spends most of his time at the gym, on the golf course, or at the ice rink, where he gets to integrate his knowledge of both human movement and skill development to further his own performance. Whether you are a high-level athlete, weekend warrior, or dealing with chronic pain, Jordan can provide a novel experience to help you towards your goals and improve your movement capabilities.

NEW WESTMINSTER

ASHWIN SINGH

BSC.KIN (HE/HIM/HIS)
Ashwin graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an Active Health & Rehabilitation concentration.

With a very diverse background, Ashwin has participated in organized sports (soccer & basketball), competitive running, powerlifting and even spent time in the army. This has allowed him to gain a broad level of experience and perspective when it comes to relating to his client base. Not to mention, having personally gone through the process of being injured and going through the recovery process, he understands what it is like to take the steps back to recovery.

Ashwin’s approach to treatment always comes from recognizing the individuality in each patient and the emotional, mental, and environmental components that make everyone’s needs differ from one another. In addition, by consciously considering each patients’ goals, he facilitates an environment where they feel empowered to take control of their function and health. Be it the athlete, the motor vehicle accident client and anyone in between, Ashwin believes his holistic approach to treatment and the focus on strength and movement can take everyone one step closer to their goals. As a registered Kinesiologist and personal trainer, Ashwin has the experience to assist with injuries, performance and sport specific training and much more.

Outside the studio, Ashwin enjoys spending time in the gym lifting weights and playing men’s soccer and cuddling his two cats.
