PHYSIOTHERAPY
Physiotherapy that moves with the way you live.
One-on-one physiotherapy that starts with an honest assessment and ends when you have what you came for.
OVERVIEW
What is physiotherapy?
Physiotherapy is a regulated health profession focused on movement — how it breaks down after an injury, why it hurts when it does, and how to rebuild it so you trust your body again. In British Columbia, every physiotherapist is licensed by the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC) and works to a defined scope of practice.
At Launch Rehab, a session is a conversation, an assessment and a plan. We use manual therapy — joint mobilization, soft-tissue work, IMS where indicated — paired with the exercises that actually change the tissue over the next two to six weeks. The same physiotherapist who assesses you is the one who treats you and progresses the plan.
We see post-MVA injuries through ICBC, work injuries through WorkSafeBC, MSP-eligible conditions, and private extended-health cases. Roughly half of our clients walk in after a crash; the other half are dealing with persistent pain from sport, work, or life.
BENEFITS
What this work is for.
- Reduce pain and restore range of motion
- Rebuild strength and tissue tolerance after injury
- Manage chronic musculoskeletal and neurological conditions
- Return to sport, work or daily life on a realistic timeline
- Prevent the next injury by addressing the underlying cause
WHAT TO EXPECT
Your session, step by step.
Assessment
A full subjective and objective assessment in the first session — history, movement testing, neurological screen if relevant. You leave with a working diagnosis and a written plan.
Manual therapy
Hands-on joint mobilization, soft-tissue release and (when appropriate) IMS or dry needling. The goal is to change pain and movement in the room, not just to relax you for an hour.
Active rehab
A short, specific exercise progression you can actually do — at home, in the gym, or in our studio space. Reviewed and progressed every visit, not handed over to an assistant.
Movement analysis
Where appropriate we film and analyze the movement you're returning to — running, lifting, golf — so the plan addresses the actual loading pattern, not a generic one.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions.
No. Physiotherapy in BC is a direct-access profession — you can book without a doctor's referral. Some extended-health plans still require a referral for reimbursement, so check with your insurer if that's how you're paying.
