COMMON QUESTIONS

Multilingual care, answered.

Does Launch Rehab have staff who speak languages other than English?
Yes. As of September 2026, Launch Rehab has clinicians who speak Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, Japanese, Tagalog, Punjabi, French, and Spanish, spread across all five Metro Vancouver studios. Cantonese and Mandarin have the deepest coverage, with 17 and 12 practitioners respectively.
How do I find a physiotherapist who speaks my language at Launch Rehab?
Check the language cards on this page for a dedicated guide to Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, or Japanese speaking practitioners, or the grouped list below for Tagalog, Punjabi, French, or Spanish. Each name links to that practitioner's profile, and you can request them by name when you book.
Which Launch Rehab studio has the most language options?
Richmond and Lougheed have the widest spread: Richmond covers Cantonese, Mandarin, Japanese, French, and Tagalog; Lougheed covers Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, and Tagalog.
Can I request a specific bilingual practitioner when I book?
Yes. Name the practitioner you want when you book online or call the studio directly. Booking ahead is the most reliable way to get a specific clinician's schedule, since several bilingual practitioners split time across two studios.
Does speaking a second language change a practitioner's BC licensing?
No. Every practitioner named on this page holds the same full BC licensing as any other Launch Rehab clinician, through their profession's regulating college (CHCPBC for physiotherapy and dietetics, CCHPBC for massage therapy, chiropractic, and acupuncture, BCACC for clinical counselling). Speaking another language is in addition to, not instead of, that licensing.
Will my ICBC or WorkSafeBC claim forms be translated?
Claim forms and correspondence from ICBC and WorkSafeBC are standardized government and insurer documents issued in English. The clinical conversation, including your history, assessment, and home program, can be conducted in your practitioner's other language, and they can walk you through the English paperwork as needed.
Does Launch Rehab have any staff who speak Vietnamese, Hindi, or Farsi?
Not currently, based on staff records as of September 2026. This page lists every language a current Launch Rehab practitioner speaks. If your language is not listed, English-language care is available at every studio, and the front desk can tell you if a new hire adds a language later.
Is a language filter available if I want to browse the full team?
Yes. The full team page lets you filter by language across all professions and studios, which is useful if you want to compare every bilingual option rather than starting from a single language's dedicated page.
