RUNEASI GUIDE · USES
What Runeasi is used for, from running screens to return to sport.
Runeasi lists seven uses for the same belt and sensor. Ask the New Westminster studio which ones fit your visit.

THE SHORT ANSWER
What can Runeasi be used for?
Runeasi lists these uses: quick running quality screens, walking tests early in rehab, return to sport, performance testing, testing outdoors where you train, live feedback to retrain how you run, and jump tests. All of them use the same belt and sensor.
These are the uses Runeasi lists in its booklet. Which ones fit your visit depends on your goal, so ask the New Westminster studio when you book.

RUNNING SCREENS
A running screen in under 5 minutes.
Runeasi says a running quality screen can find your weak links in under 5 minutes, using measured data from a short run. The report takes a few seconds to make.

WALKING TESTS
Walking tests early in rehab.
Runeasi also measures walking. Early in a return to sport, it can help bring your walking back to normal. Comparing data before and after a stage of rehab helps you and your therapist decide when to move to the next stage.
RETURN TO SPORT
Return to sport, one phase at a time.
Runeasi tracks progress through each phase of a return to sport. It helps check whether you are ready for running with changes of direction, and then for full play.
It also finds differences between your sides that grow as you run faster. Runeasi calls these objective measures to support return to sport decisions.

PERFORMANCE TESTS
Performance tests in the lab or the field.
Runeasi can link its movement data to fitness measures from the same test, to make training advice more personal without extra time or space. Tests can run in a lab or in the field.

REAL-WORLD TESTING
Testing where you train.
You can take the test to the trail, the track or the road and look at how you move in your normal training setting. Runeasi also points to this for larger field studies, and it lists remote testing among its uses.

LIVE FEEDBACK
Live feedback to change how you run.
Runeasi's real-time feedback supports running retraining, which means changing how you run through practice. The live data prompts you to correct your running while you run.
Runeasi says this builds confidence and motivation, and helps people stick with their program.
JUMP TESTS
Jump tests with the same belt.
Runeasi's portable jump screening uses the same belt and sensor. It measures how well you land and how well you jump, with tests on two legs and on one leg, and it gives personal exercise suggestions.
