SHOULDER & ROTATOR CUFF PHYSIOTHERAPY IN RICHMOND

Why clients in Richmond choose us.

Shoulder pain physiotherapy in Richmond is delivered from our Broadmoor studio at the corner of Williams Road and No. 3 Road, with parking on site. The shoulder trades stability for a huge range of movement, which makes it easy to overload, and pain can come from the rotator cuff, the joint capsule or the shoulder blade. The first job is telling those apart.

Care is led by physiotherapists working to the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC scope. We test how far and how comfortably the shoulder moves, check the rotator cuff and shoulder blade, and screen for problems that need a surgeon, then settle the pain and rebuild strength. Most rotator cuff problems and most frozen shoulders improve without surgery, and progressive loading is the core of the plan.

Free on-site parking at Broadmoor makes it straightforward to keep the steady, progressive sessions shoulder rehab needs.

FAQ

Shoulder & Rotator Cuff Physiotherapy in Richmond: questions.

Do I need a scan before starting shoulder physio?

+

Usually no. Many shoulder problems do not need a scan to start rehab, and scans of pain-free shoulders often show cuff changes that do not match symptoms. We screen for the situations that do need imaging or a surgeon and refer you on when that is the right call.

What is the painful arc when I lift my arm?

+

A painful arc partway through raising the arm often points to impingement, linked to how the rotator cuff and shoulder blade work under load. It commonly settles with physiotherapy that rebuilds cuff and scapular strength and adjusts the loads that flare it.

How do I get to the Richmond studio?

+

We are at the northeast corner of Williams Road and No. 3 Road in Broadmoor, with parking on site, an easy drive from Steveston, Ironwood and central Richmond.
