BACK PAIN & SCIATICA PHYSIOTHERAPY IN LOUGHEED
Why clients in Lougheed choose us.
Back pain physiotherapy in Lougheed is delivered on Level 1 of the Residential Podium above CIBC and LifeLabs, a five-minute walk from Lougheed Town Centre SkyTrain. Most low back pain we see here is not a sign of serious damage. It settles as the back is loaded and moved again in a graded way, and the first job is to work out whether this is mostly back pain, mostly nerve pain (sciatica), or both.
Care is led by physiotherapists working to the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC scope. The first visit is an assessment: we screen for the few problems that need a doctor, test the nerves in the leg, and agree on a plan you can actually do between sessions. This is the flagship studio, so a full gym floor is on hand when your plan moves into strengthening and return to lifting or sport.
Evening slots to 8pm Monday to Friday make it easy to fit back rehab around a desk job in the Lougheed corridor without missing work.

FAQ
Back Pain & Sciatica Physiotherapy in Lougheed: questions.
Do I need a scan or a doctor's referral before back physio in Lougheed?
+
No. Physiotherapy in BC is direct-access, so you can book without a referral. Most low back pain does not need a scan, and early imaging often shows normal age-related changes that do not match the pain. We screen for the situations that do need a doctor and refer you on if that is the case.
How do I reach the Lougheed studio?
+
From Lougheed Town Centre station, walk through City of Lougheed Mall toward Grande Promenade. We are on Level 1 above CIBC, between LifeLabs and PriceSmart Foods, about a five-minute walk. Evening slots run to 8pm Monday to Friday.
Should I rest my back or keep moving?
+
For most low back pain, staying gently active beats long rest. A day or two of taking it easy in a bad flare is fine, but long rest tends to leave a back stiffer and weaker. The first session works out which movements your back accepts right now so you can keep moving safely.
