Reformer Pilates with a rehab brain behind it.
CLINICAL PILATES IN LOUGHEED
Why clients in Lougheed choose us.
Clinical Pilates at Lougheed runs on a Balanced Body reformer in our open gym space, led by a physiotherapist or a certified clinical Pilates instructor. It's the bridge between rehab exercises and getting back to your life — programmed to your assessment findings, not a class plan.
We use it most with post-MVA clients in the active rehab phase, postnatal clients rebuilding core control, low-back pain that won't settle with strength training alone, and dancers / runners who want to clean up control under load.
Reformer in a real gym setting — we can transition you straight from Pilates onto the squat rack as you progress.

FAQ
Clinical Pilates in Lougheed — questions.
Can clinical Pilates be billed through my extended health?
+
When delivered by a physiotherapist as part of a physio session, yes. Pilates-instructor-led sessions are private pay unless your plan specifically covers Pilates.
How is clinical Pilates different from a regular Pilates class?
+
One-on-one, prescribed off an assessment, progressed visit-to-visit, and coordinated with whatever else (physio, kinesiology) you're doing. The reformer setup is the same; the reasoning is rehab.
Do I need Pilates experience to start?
+
No. We meet you where you are and build foundational control before loading. Most first-timers feel comfortable on the reformer within one or two sessions.
