Active rehab in a proper gym, not a hallway corner.

KINESIOLOGY IN LOUGHEED

Why clients in Lougheed choose us.

Kinesiology at Lougheed is one-on-one, in a real strength and conditioning space — Rogue power rack, plyo boxes, sled, treadmill, bike, reformer and a turf strip. Our kinesiologists are BC Association of Kinesiologists members who pick up where your physiotherapist's program ends and build the load tolerance back into the tissue.

Most sessions are ICBC active rehab (post-MVA) or WorkSafeBC return-to-work conditioning, but we also see runners, lifters and recreational athletes who want progressive programming, not a generic gym membership.

Full gym set-up means you don't outgrow the space — we can load you progressively as you recover.

FAQ

Kinesiology in Lougheed — questions.

Does ICBC cover kinesiology at the Lougheed studio?

+

Yes — kinesiology has its own pre-approved visit count under ICBC's enhanced care, separate from physiotherapy. Bring your claim number to the first session.

How is kinesiology different from a personal trainer?

+

Kinesiologists are regulated and trained to work with injury, post-surgical and chronic-condition presentations. Programming is built on assessment findings and progressed with the rehab plan, not from a generic template.

Do I need to have seen a physio first?

+

No, you can book kinesiology directly. That said, for ICBC and post-injury cases we usually recommend a physiotherapy assessment first so the kin sessions plug into a clear plan.
